DME Authority LLC (“DME Authority,” “we,” “us”) is the durable medical equipment (DME) provider that supplies active compression devices to patients referred by their healthcare providers.

Program name: DME Authority Patient Notifications

Program description: When you enroll as a DME Authority patient, you may receive transactional text messages about your specific device order — including insurance verification status, order confirmation, shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, insurance claim and billing status, and self-pay payment links. These are service messages about your own order. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

How you opt in: Patients are referred to DME Authority by a licensed healthcare provider, who provides your contact information (including a mobile number) so we can fulfill and service your device order. We treat that number as contact information only and do not enroll you in text messaging automatically. Before sending any order-update texts, DME Authority sends a single one-time welcome message asking whether you’d like to receive text updates about your order and telling you how to opt out. We send further texts only if you affirmatively confirm — for example, by replying YES or START. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of receiving your device or any other service. If you choose not to opt in (or don’t reply), we’ll keep you informed by phone, email, or mail. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help.

Example of the one-time welcome (opt-in) message you receive:
“DME Authority: Your provider referred you for an active compression device. Reply YES to receive text updates about your order (insurance, shipping, delivery, billing). Optional; not required to receive your device. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Message frequency: Message frequency varies and depends on the status and progress of your order.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. DME Authority does not charge you for the text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply depending on your plan.

Getting help (HELP): For help at any time, reply HELP to any of our messages, or contact us at 866-995-7778 or info@dmeauthority.com.

Opting out (STOP): You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we’ll send a confirmation message and then stop sending texts. To opt back in, reply START.

Privacy: Your information is handled per DME Authority’s Privacy Policy.
